OUR STORY

At Great Plains Children’s Museum, we believe in the power of play, connection, and being authentically yourself. Founded by Lindsay Breuler, a seasoned entrepreneur support professional and fundraising expert, the museum was born from a desire for connection to the “promised village” and a space where caregivers can take a deep breath while allowing their children to explore.

With years of experience supporting startups through organizations like Emerging Prairie and gener8tor, Lindsay has built communities, led fundraising efforts, and championed access to resources. After stepping away from the full-time workforce to raise her three children, she saw a critical need for an accessible space that supports unstructured, play-based learning for children and supports caregivers at a community level.

With focus areas on skilled trades exposure, pretend play, nature exploration, and creativity, with immersive indoor and outdoor experiences for year-round, daily enjoyment.

We’re rallying the community to bring this vision to life —join us as a Founding Family to open the doors on Phase 1!
